Lady Adriana made her way down from her chambers after a morning of freshening up. Though ruler, she was in fairly commoner clothes. She wore a gown of pure white from the finest silk. Her brown wavy hair fell lightly upon her shoulders and she entered the throne room with a smile of happiness. Her servants brought her some food and she thanked them kindly before settling down to eat a light morning breakfast.
Sitting in her throne, she ate her breakfast quietly. It consisted of eggs, bacon, and toast. Her eyes scanned the room and she sighed in content. It was a beautiful day.

Lord Tyler and around seven knights came into the throne room. They were accompanied with several throne room guards and as well as a announcer. Lord Tyler put his hand up and the knights stopped about twenty feet from the throne as Tyler continued alone. Tyler walked up to the throne and bowed his head slowly.
" Lady Adriana, a welcome you to your new rulership of Flavia Cesariensis, I am Lord Tyler of York," Tyler said calmly

Adriana was looking around the throne room when she saw a group of knights arrive. In the front she saw a man with whom she figured was a Lord. She watched as he motioned for him men to stop as he advanced forward. He bowed his head and she did the same, a smile on her lips. "Thank you Lord Tyler, it's a pleasure to meet you." She stood from her throne and walked towards him, her white gown trailing behind her.

He looked up at her and nodded his head again.
" Indeed, the same is for me Lady Adriana, " Tyler said with a calm smile.
" As longing as I am to have come on leasure and pleasurable bussiness, I am however, here on a matter of bussiness." Tyler said as he watched Lady Adriana come closer to him.

Adriana held a warm smile and approached him, but stopped a safe distant from him. Her eyes met with his. She nodded at what he said and then turned her gaze from his, letting it wander around the throne room. "And what matter of business is it that you bring?" She asked, returning her gaze to his with a wondering look.

Tyler took a breath and then aswered her.
" Well I am here to request soldiers," Tyler began, " I have some problems with Scotland and I have decided to instate marshall law to make sure everything remains orderly, however I am lacking the troops to adaquately do so. Of course I am offering an alliance, if you grant the troops or not, " Tyler said calmly, looking at Adriana for a moment, his eyes scanning over her figure before beack up to her face.

She listened to him and thought for a moment. His eyes scanned her figure and she blushed lightly but made no show of it. "Well Lord Tyler, how man troops are you lacking?" Adriana asked, her eyes drifting to the ground then back to his.

Tyler looked at her, watching her eyes.
" Well I would be in need of two hundred soldiers if you could supply them. " Tyler said, his face showing no emotion, just that he was a bussiness man and he was doing his bussiness. He turned and beckoned for one of his knights to come to him. The knight came, bringing a young man with him, obivously of Scotish blood.
" He is yours as well, your own personal slave, treat him however you like, just make sure he knows his place, " Tyler said coldly as he pushed the boy to his knees in a boy.

Andrew kneeled down when Tyler pushed him. He bowed his head low in respect for the woman that he was being handed over to. He didn't want to be used a barter chip but it seemed as though he would be. Andrew kept his head hanging, making sure not to make eye contact with either Adriana or expecially Tyler. He had been taught what that would mean by Tyler. According to him, Andrew was unworthy of looking upon a lord and would be flogged if done so. Andrew, with this rather, uncomforting thought in his head kept his head low and his hands behind his back, his knees on the ground, trying to show as much respect as he could.

Adriana listened as Lord Tyler spoke. She nodded, seeing him bring in the Scottish boy. He was thrown to his knees and she closed her eyes, hating to see anyone treated in such a way. Looking back up to Lord Tyler she nodded. "Alright...I will supply you the troops. I'll have them ready right away." She said, her eyes locking with his before traveling to the boy once more. She walked forward, seeing him still bowing low to her and she placed her hand on his chin and brought his eyes up to hers. "Do not be freightened." She whispered a warm smile on her face.

Tyler nodded as he wathced and listened to what Adriana said.
" I thank you for your generousity, now there are still affairs that I must attend to in my own province. I thank you again," He said calmly and bowed his head. He then turned and left Andrew with Adriana.

When Adriana leaned down and touched him on the chin, making him look up, he looked up into her eyes, but looked away quickly. He didn't know why she was doing that. Andrew just put his head back down, even after Tyler had left. He didn't want to be flogged again, fearing that Adriana's gesture was just a test.

Adriana bowed to Sir Tyler and two of her guards showed him out. Once they were out of sight, she kneeled down and took the young man's hand in hers, helping him to his feet. "What is your name?" She asked, her voice still kind and filled with care and concern. Even though he was her slave, she wouldn't treat him so poorly. It just wasnt in her to condemn him to a life of injustice when, even though he was Scottish, was still human.
